Lust System: Sword Genius in Women's World - Chapter 107
Chapter 107 Tower Of Trials [Part 3]
“So we just tell each other our strengths and weaknesses?” The dwarf asked.
“Yes, how would we know what to help you with when no one knows your weakness?” Dragonborn spoke.
“What if we don’t know our weaknesses?” Xavier asked.
“You don’t know your weakness, are you that powerful that you don’t know your weakness? Then let’s start with strength, tell us your strength, I’ll start, I can’t run out of Mana” Dragonborn spoke.
“Wait, you can’t or your Mana is so much it’s almost impossible?” Xavier asked quickly, it was shocking to hear.
“My Mana and my Mana recovery rate are quick, so I can’t run out of Mana; I can go 1 month fighting without running out of Mana,” He replied.
“Then can I try something?” Xavier asked.
“What?”
“Don’t worry, it won’t do anything” Xavier muttered as he touched Dragonborn.
[Arcane Siphon]
Xavier activated the ability, but nothing happened; just as he thought, he still wasn’t good enough to drain Mana from someone.
“What are you doing?”
“Sorry, continue,” Xavier said.@@novelr18@@
“You go next,” Dragonborn said to Xavier.
“Well, I’m good at using a sword, and I can also use magic, but I don’t have that much Mana,” Xavier said.
“That’s all, you can use a sword, then why are you here, and you’re human?” one of the demons spoke.
“You really think this is the time when we’re all dead, then you can complain? I’m good at healing, light, plant, and earth magic. I also have a pet beast, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to summon him here” the elf spoke.
“I’m quick and good with an axe,” the dwarf said, looking at the demon that spoke to Xavier earlier.
“I can fly, sorry, that’s obvious. I can use strong wind magic, and I self-heal, though I can’t heal anyone,” Harpy spoke.
“I’m powerful” Mana simply said.
“I’m also powerful,” Tiger said.
The rest of the group revealed their strength; the demons were powerful and good at dark magic, and the pirates were good at water magic and wind.
“Well, since no one is going to talk about their weaknesses, let’s hope we don’t die out there cause that’s more likely, and we should group ourselves in case it’s a horde of monsters cause that’s more likely”
“Yes, it’s more likely” the god spoke as he appeared back.
“The first trial is a horde of monsters, 1,000,000 I think, but don’t worry you’ll be okay, as long as you don’t lose your wits, you’ll be fine”
“1 million monsters, how are we supposed to defeat that?” The elf spoke.
“I think you should leave it to the guys; they didn’t complain, and mind you, it gets increasingly difficult, so this is like a bonus round,” the god spoke.
Xavier took a deep breath; with a team like this equipped with powerful weapons, a horde like that isn’t that big of a problem, and since it’s a horde, AOE spells would be best to deal with them, but the only one he had was [Firestorm], and it wasn’t that huge.
Still, Xavier wasn’t bothered as he looked at the sword in his hand.
“Before we begin…” The god snapped his fingers, and Xavier wasn’t in the room anymore. Instead, he was in another room, a bright room painted with the purest of white, and it seemed familiar.
“Goddess?” Xavier spoke as he saw the goddess of lust in front of him.
“So this is where your journey ended, that’s why I don’t choose a champion”
“I’m not dead yet” Xavier replied.
“You’re already dead, why do you think I can speak to you, you’re in another realm, and sure if you pass the Tower of Trials you would live, but it’s impossible”
“Someone passed it before, so it’s not,” Xavier spoke.
“Yes, but the person was the champion of the god of magic, you can’t compare yourself with him”
“We’ll see, so why am I here?” Stay connected via empire
“This is probably the last time I’m going to see you so the god of death gave me time to talk to you, I just want to say, I think you did your best”
“I’m still not going to die,” Xavier spoke, and the goddess chuckled.
“Why do you think that is? You know you aren’t like a chosen one among billions, right? Other people are getting chosen as champions too; it’s not like you’re the first or the last,” the goddess spoke.
“I’m both. I’m the first person you chose, and I’m going to make sure I’m the last; I’m not going to die, so I want to ask, can you help me?”
“I can’t do anything to help you, there’s a rule…wait you’re already dead and in the realm of one of the gods, I think I can help a little but I don’t know if it’s help you, and we’re running out of time, you’re going to see the help just pass the first…”
Xavier appeared back in the previous room at the exact time the god snapped his finger, meaning not a second had passed since then.
“Since you’re all ready, let’s get right down to it; good luck, I’ll be watching,” he said as he vanished, and soon the rest of them also vanished and appeared in a ridiculously late room, and they were close to the walls.
“Well, this is it, elf. You’ll be at the back of someone and get ready to heal anyone; you can do long-range healing, right?” Dragonborn asked.
“Yes, as long as you’re close to me,” the elf replied.
“None of us are going to die on this first floor,” Dragonborn spoke, and the next moment, the ground began to vibrate slowly till it got violent as to the other side, the horde was already on their way.
